Snap Frames: How Do They Work and What Are Their Differences?

When it comes to in-store signage, snap frames are a popular choice and provide an elegant modern look for visual displays. Snap frames are available for a wide variety of applications, for example:frames sold by Rose Displays are easy to use. The ThinLine^TM Frame and AnoGlow^TM LED Lightbox Frame offer a concealed back spring design, while the FreedomFrame® has a patented rail design that provides a secure grip without springs. To insert or change a graphic, all that store employees need to do is to lift up the edge of each frame on all four sides. The existing graphic can be easily removed and the new graphic inserted.

1) Wall-mounted displays. Snap frames can be mounted by themselves, or adjacent to one another to create eye-catching menu board or collage formats.

2) Back-to-back displays. There are many instances where signage needs to be visible from both sides, such as window displays or signs that are hung from store ceilings. Double-sided snap frames are a great solution and can be hung securely using readily available hardware such as cables with loops or cables with saucer fittings.

3)  Illuminated displays. Lightbox snap frames use LEDs to bring graphics to life. Backlighting ensures that messages get maximum exposure.

6) How easy is it to wall mount snap frames? Rose Displays can deliver snap frames with pre-drilled holes for wall-mounting. Wall hangers, peg/slatwall hangers, and adhesive are also available (minimums apply).

7) Is it possible for me to buy a kit and create my own snap frame? Yes, Rose Displays offers a “do it yourself” version of the FreedomFrame®. The components ship unassembled and without a backer board to save money on shipping.

 8) Are there color and style options available for snap frames? Our snap frames come in two stock finishes – black and clear anodized aluminum. However, custom colors are also available. Both the Thinline^TM Frame and FreedomFrame® can be ordered with either miter cut or rounded corners.

 9) Which snap frames provide me with the largest “live area”? All of Rose Displays snap frames have a sleek appearance. When graphics are inserted in the ThinLine^TM Frame or FreedomFrame®, only a ½ inch margin is covered. For the Even Glow^TM LED Lightbox Frame, only slightly more is covered with a 11/16 inch margin.
